Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde (also known as HICC or Lyral) is a synthetic fragrance ingredient used to impart lily-of-the-valley-like scent in personal care and household products. It is not a treatment active; its role is primarily odor masking/fragrance. It is one of the best-known fragrance allergens in dermatology literature and has been associated with allergic contact dermatitis.

Major risk is allergic contact dermatitis/sensitization, especially in fragrance-sensitive or eczema-prone individuals. It is a well-established contact allergen and has been banned in EU cosmetics.
