Eugenia Caryophyllus Oil
Eugenia Caryophyllus Oil
Eugenia Caryophyllus Oil is clove oil, an essential oil obtained from clove buds and/or related clove plant parts. It is used in cosmetics mainly as a fragrance ingredient and sometimes for its antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics. The oil is rich in eugenol and related phenolics, which are responsible for its strong aroma and much of its biological activity.

Risks & Warnings
A well-known fragrance allergen and potential sensitizer. May cause stinging, redness, dermatitis, or eye irritation, especially in sensitive skin or when used undiluted. Because it is an essential oil with a strong bioactive profile, it is not ideal for leave-on products at higher levels. Use extra caution in children, eczema-prone skin, and during pregnancy unless specifically cleared by a clinician.
