Disodium Oleamido Mipa-Sulfosuccinate
Disodium Oleamido Mipa-Sulfosuccinate
A mild anionic surfactant and foam booster derived from oleamide/MIPA chemistry and sulfosuccinate functionality. It is used primarily as a cleansing agent, foam enhancer, and viscosity-supporting surfactant in rinse-off products such as shampoos, body washes, and facial cleansers. Supplier data show it is supplied as a ~38% active liquid with a near-neutral pH in 10% aqueous solution.

Risks & Warnings
Can be mildly irritating, especially in higher-foaming or higher-surfactant systems and on very sensitive or compromised skin. As with many surfactants, excessive exposure may contribute to dryness or stinging. CIR concluded alkyl amide MIPA ingredients are safe in cosmetics in present practices of use and concentration when formulated to be non-irritating. Avoid with nitrosating-agent contamination concerns for related amine chemistry; use appropriate preservation and impurity control.
